PASPort Probeware - e - measure works!

PASPORT Probeware is the choice for most school needs — offering more than 70 sensors to measure virtually anything. The PASPORT sensor line is all-digital, each sensor a computing device of its own complete with digital chip on board. This gives you plug-and-learn simplicity plus unmatched sensor capabilities.
PASPORT features MultiMeasure Sensors™ — many different sensor measurements in one convenient sensor box. Make classroom and equipment management easier, and save money.
How easy is it to use PASPort? Just plug a sensor into any PASPort Interface and you are ready to take data. It really is that simple. If you are using a computer, Data Studio will automatically launche and configure to the sensor plugged in. Just click the start button to take data. If you are using any of the remote dataloggers, they automatically configure to the sensor. Just press the start button to take data. Connecting the remote dataloggers to your computer automatically transfers the data to the computer.
In the Classroom or in the Field
With the remote dataloggers you can truly collect data any time, any place. When your students have collected all their data, they just plug the datalogger into their computer and the data will be transferred for further display and analysis or use the built in software with the Xplorer GLX and SPARK.
State-of-the-Art Technology

PASPort uses state-of-the-art technology to provide ease-of-use with faster, more accurate data transfers.
USB technology gives PASPort its 'plug and play' ease of operation. The USB port on your computer connects printers and other devices. USB allows PASPort sensors to tell your computer its sensor type, calibration, optimum sampling rate, etc. Your computer can tell PASPort sensors to change the range, adjust the zero, etc. When you add a new sensor, there is no need to update software since all the information is in the sensor.
PASPort sensors can take most scientific measurements required in today’s educational curriculum.
Probeware does not replace real learning or the scientific principles behind the experiments.
It is only a measurement and an analysis tool. Long term studies have clearly shown that computer interfacing leads to a science curriculum with a greater emphasis on content with replies suggesting that more than half of all science teachers rating hands-on activities as better than any other teaching method.
Research results clearly show that students who use probeware and computers to collect and analyse data scored significantly higher on standardised science testing than those who don't use this technology.
PASPort Sensors
PASCO offers an impressive range of sensors, (see list below) with new sensors being added regularly. PASPort sensors feature:
Automatic Sensor Identification
Each sensor automatically identifies itself, sets the default sampling rate and configures a default display when plugged into a USB Link, Xplorer, SPARK, AirLink or PowerLink.
More Sensors per Computer
With USB technology, up to eight sensors can be connected to the same computer. There are no restrictions on which sensors can be used together, and no data is lost when multiple sensors are used.
Pure Digital Probeware™
All PASPort sensors connect to USB ports and ensure stable and repeatable measurements.
MultiMeasure Sensor™ Technology
Some PASPort sensors, such as Voltage/Current or Humidity/Temp/Dew Point, contain multiple sensors in one box.
Upgradeable Data Sheets
Each PASPort sensor contains a data sheet that identifies its uses, measurements and preferred displays. When a sensor update is necessary, a revised data sheet is included in a new release of DataStudio software. As the sensor is used with the newer version of DataStudio, the sensor's data sheet is simultaneously updated.
